Your Colorado Symphony does most often in Boettcher Auditorium at the Denver Doing Arts Complex. The hall, integrated in 1978, is this nation's first 360-degree auditorium. Greater than 2700 seats are set up in five seats areas (outfit circle, band, mezzanine, a section alongside the stage as well as overhanging rings drifting above the lower seats). The thinking behind the hall-in-the-round principle is so that no audience member is more than 85 feet from the phase, with more than 80% of the audience being seated within 65 feet of the stage.
