  2. Water Planning & Stewardship CommitteeItem #6b Summary: Recent actions to protect Delta smelt is likely to challenge MWD and other water users with more prolonged curtailments. In addition, two ongoing efforts (Bay Delta Conservation Plan & Governor’s Delta Vision) are developing long-term solutions, with a recommendation targeted for the end of 2007. This Board Report provides more detailed information on potential long-term actions, and water supply planning implications. 2
