  1. CEFPI is a Registered Provider with The American Institute of Architects Continuing Education Systems (AIA/CES). Credit(s) earned on completion of this program will be reported to AIA/CES for AIA members. Certificates of Completion for both AIA members and non-AIA members are available upon request.This program is registered with AIA/CES for continuing professional education. As such, it does not include content that may be deemed or construed to be an approval or endorsement by the AIA of any material of construction or any method or manner of handling, using, distributing, or dealing in any material or product. Questions related to specific materials, methods, and services will be addressed at the conclusion of each presentation.

Understand the 7-year process of visioning, pre-design design and construction. Understand the Guiding Principles and their importance to the design, construction and operation of the project. Understand how the community and user groups were engaged and infused into the design and operation of this campus.

  3. Learning Objectives Seeing is Believing At the end of this program, participants will be able to: Understand how the vision was transformed into a built reality. Understand how the entire project functions in day to day activities. Understand how architectural details and materials fit with the whole vision of the project. Explore the integrated building systems and details.

Learning Objectives A Day in the Life: The Student and Educator Perspective At the end of this program, participants will be able to: Understand how this new educational environment plays a role in a student’s learning experience. Understand the impact of small learning communities. Understand how this campus functions and supports the goals and objectives of each individual high school. Understand how the District’s Guiding Principles affect the learning environments

Learning Objectives The Instruction / Construction Approach At the end of this program, participants will be able to: Understand how a district implemented a well-balanced decision making process from an owner’s perspective. Understand how the team worked together and maintained their objectives in focus over an extended period of time. Understand how this process was crucial during the designing phase. Understand how a clear educational vision can challenge and foster great design and construction of new learning environments.

  6. Learning Objectives No Stone Unturned At the end of this program, participants will be able to: Understand how a district can transform the way it delivers high school education. Understand how the creation of a new learning environment can transform education delivery. Apply a holistic approach to the design of new learning environments. Understand the complexities of the organization of a school district.
