  7. TARBELA DAM • PROJECT: 1968-1971 • IMPOUND: INDUS RIVER • LOCALE: DIST. HARIPUR • POWER GENRATION CAPACITY: 4200 MW

  8. RAWAL DAM IMPOUND: RAWAL LAKE • LOCALE: • RAWALPINDI • POWER GENRATION CAPACITY: 600 MW

  9. IMPOUND: INDUS RIVER LOCALE: NEAR KHANPUR TOWN POWER GENRATION CAPACITY: 0 MW COST OF CONSTRACTION: Rs 1352 billions THIS DAM IS USED TO SUPPLY WATER TO ISLAMABAD AND RAWALPINDI(25 Km AWAY FROM ISLAMABAD) BY USING THIS DAM WE CAN GET 50-60 MW DAILLY KHANPUR DAM

  11. SHAKIDOR DAM • LOCALE: NEAR PASNI • COST OF CONSTRUCTION: Rs 45 MILLIONS • OPENING DATE: 2003 ON FEB, 10,2005 DAM BRUST AND WIPED OFF ALMOST 70 VILLAGES

  12. SIMLY DAM • IMPOUND: SOAN RIVER • LOCALE: 25 Km AWAY FROM ISLAMABAD • USED: A LARGEST DRINKING WATER RESERVIOR FOR PEOPLE OF ISLAMABAD BY USING THIS WATER WE CAN GENRATE ALMOST 50-60MW

  15. PROJECT: WORKSTART FROM AUG 2002 IMPOUNDS: GOMAL RIVER LOCALE: NORTH WEST KHABER PAKHTON KHAN POWER GERATION CAPASITY: 17.4 MW COST OF CONSTRUCTION: Rs.12 BILLIONS GOMAL ZAM DAM
