Objectives – Short Term • To become a knowledge portal on Madhva maTas and their parampare. • Provide comprehensive and accurate information on parampare and sampradaya in confirmation with the maTas themselves. • Provide an online presence for smaller smasthanas. • Provide consolidated information on Ekadasi and other important dates based on maTa’s panchanga. • Collate information on Aaradhane and Brundavana locations and mediums to reach the locations. • Provide information on contributions to madhva sampradhaya/siddhantha by the parampare.

Objectives – Long Term • To become a one-stop knowledge portal (KP) for our entire Madhva Sampradaya & Shastra. • Provide a searchable/citable database on all our maTas, sampradaya and parampare. (Madhva Search & Cite - MSC) • Create a comprehensive Madhva Multimedia Encyclopedia (MME) and make it easily available for all to access. • Provide a de-facto forum to globally connect all possible madhvas on the face of this planet – Madhva Connect (MC). • Use Internet to propagate our shastra across the globe.(PS)

  4. Objectives – Long Term (Contd) • Provide an online medium to schedule gnana & other karyas with Acharya-s/maTa-s/Samsthana-s across India. • Provide an online broadcast of gnana karyas & shashtra paata across the globe.

  5. Key Driving Forces • Lack of information on Madhva maTa-s and their parampare. • Urgent need to highlight the history & sampradaya of the maTa-s. Resources are not centralized and difficult to obtain. • Provide smaller samsthanas an online presence. • Urgently focus on the fast degenerating faith & trust of Madhva youth in the 21st century. • Make information our great sampradhaya and samsthana available globally. • Provide easy access to information on our great siddhantha and sampradaya using technology.

Action Items – Short Term • Phase 1: Collate basic information on mata-s and parampare. • Phase 2: Collate history, photographs and detailed information on parampare and maTa sampradaya. • Phase 3: Publish e-Panchanga, searchable repository on parampare, aaradhane & directions to brundavanas, authenticated history.

Action Items – Phase 1 • Brief history of the maTa-s • maTa-s and their locations • Authentic information on Parampare. • Aaradhane & brundavana locations. • Contributions of acharya-s to dvaita sampradaya from the samasthana. • Provide an online repository for all the information collected during Phase 1. • Make collection of information from Phase 1 to be the foundation for Phase 2 & 3.

Execution – Phase 1 • Make MMPD a global project across all e-groups. • Form sub-teams based on logistical feasibility with a project leader collecting information on 1 or 2 mata-s. • Travel to and interact closely with the mata-s & pontiffs to enable collection of authentic information. • Host the information online so that it is beneficial and accessible to all.
