  1. Introducing PrepCenter Simplifying the Instructor Prep Process

  2. What is PrepCenter? • PrepCenter is McGraw-Hill’s unique library of teaching assets that puts the power in your hands. On one easy to navigate screen you can search an entire package of learning material. • You can browse our complete library of digital assets and classroom activities by chapter, concept, or media type, then organize them how you like.

  3. After signing in, you are welcomed to PrepCenter with a cascade of “marbles.” The colors represent all of the files available for the text, color coded by type. Everything you need is right here. You do everything—sort, preview and save—on one screen…

  4. The top level is the library of everything available. The center area is where you sort and select items. PrepCenter has an elegant, simple design… The bottom third is where you collect and organize the files

  5. You can sort items by chapter…

  6. …or by concept…

  7. …or by type of media…

  8. When you drill into a concept, all the assets available to support it drop down from the top-level view into the sorting area.

  9. When you draw your mouse into the black field, the data associated with each file appears—file type, chapter association, and concept. Double click on a file to preview it.

  10. The preview slides open to the right. You can preview PowerPoints before adding them to your personal prep folder. PrepCenter provides descriptive information and technical data for your information as well so you know what you are getting before you select it.

  11. No more multi-tape video screening projects before the term – PrepCenter allows you to preview 30 seconds of a video right on the screen. And when you download it, you not only get the digitized video but also the teaching notes that accompany it. When you’ve found something you want, you can download it right away or save it to a prep folder for downloading later—along with other related assets if you choose.

  12. Prep folders are your personal organizing tool. Create as many as you want, named whatever you like. Want one place to put all the video you intend to use in the course? No problem. Create a multimedia lecture on SWOT analysis? Go for it. How you use PrepCenter is completely up to you.

  13. Adding something to your prep folder is as simple as drag and drop. Deleting it is just as intuitive. The folders remain in your account until you delete them.
