  1. One Sunday in March

  2. THE BRIEF Ted Baker is continuing its plan for global growth, with new locations opening in China, Japan, the USA and the Middle East – each time taking a little bit of Britain with them. It’s your job to bring its British sense of humour and unique approach to fashion to another country – which country is up to you.

  3. Ted Baker Research

  4. GREEN: • Johannesburg is one of the greenest cities in the world • Ted Baker Green • GOLD: • Linked to the birth of Johannesburg •  It is believed that one Sunday in March of 1886, gold was discovered in the Witwatersrand •  Johannesburg started originally as a mining village, with people all over the world quickly settling there, seeking fortune • 10 years later, Johannesburg was already a larger town than Cape Town • Additionally: Nelson Mandela changed the rugby colours to green and gold in an effort to bring the country together

  5. CAMPAIGN IDEAS • Embody British sense of humour by using models wearing Ted Baker doing traditionally British things in South African settings • Translating Ted Baker’s quirky personality into our campaign by dressing models in animal masks • Incorporate GOLD by adding small touches to the print ads
