Matthew 13:13-17 13Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. 14And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: 'Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive; 15For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing,

And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.‘ 16 "But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; 17 for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.

  5. So Your Heart Does Not Become Hard And Calloused So You Do Not Have A Foolish Heart So You Will Not Be Deceived So You Will Have A Good Heart ARE YOU LISTENING?

  10. WHY WON’T PEOPLE LISTEN? POPULARITY James 4:4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

  11. WHY WON’T PEOPLE LISTEN? DECEITFULNESS OF SIN Heb. 13:3 But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called "today," that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

  12. LISTEN TO JESUS So You Do Not Have A Foolish Heart Matt. 13:15 Lest they see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their hearts

  13. LISTEN TO JESUS So You Do Not Have A Foolish Heart Prov. 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction. Ecc. 4:13 Better a poor but wise youth than an old but foolish king who no longer knows how to take warning. Prov. 15:7 The lips of the wise spread knowledge; not so the hearts of fools.

  14. LISTEN TO JESUS So You Will Not Be Deceived Matt. 13:22 Parable of the Sower Jn. 14:13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Matt.6:25 Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?

  15. LISTEN TO JESUS So You Will Not Be Deceived Lk. 21:8 Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am He,' and, 'The time has drawn near.‘ Therefore do not go after them. 1 Cor. 6:9 Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

  16. LISTEN TO JESUS So You Will Not Be Deceived 1 Cor. 15:33 Do not be deceived: "Evil company corrupts good habits. Gal. 6:7-8 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.

  17. LISTEN TO JESUS So You Will Not Be Deceived James 1:14-16 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. 16Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren.

  21. "Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.

  22. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.
