PR/Communication/Conference Committee Head: Prof. Mark Bradley, University of S.Hampton • Supervises Eurocombichem meetings organization: Budapest 2001, Coppenhagen 2003 • Edits and issues Press Releases • Topics: meetings, events, training, investments, breakthrough innovations, new/distinguished members, new officers, awards, etc. • Maintains web site of the society that provides platform for: • Discussion Groups (chatboard), • Hot links in combinatorial chemistry, • On-line shop for books/publications, discounted products and services only for members, • Ongoing project and innovation line, • Miscellaneous e-services, etc. • Spots resources of and spreads information (e.g. new targets) for members for free (e-mail alert registration possibility) • Communicates, co-operates with other organizations • FECS, ENC, SBS, ECS, Combichem.net • Develops partnerships with other organizations • SBS, JFCS, AllChemE, IUPAC, ACS, AIChE, ECCC • Maintain public awareness and career center (scholarship contracts)
