GENERAL RECRUITMENT RULES • JOB • ANNOUNCEMENT • Pleasefill in a standardizedtemplate for the joboffer (available on euglena http://euglena.iimcb.gov.pl/pliki/forms/2018/newforms/JOB_FELLOWSHIP%20OFFER%20TEMPLATE%20FORM.docx ) • and sendit to the HR Unit (afaliszewska@iimcb.gov.pl).Pleasenotethatallrequiredfieldsmust be filled in. • Based on the template, HR Unit prepares a jobannouncement. • Remember that the announcement must be postedon the website for atleast 2 weeks and for1 monthfor FNP Projects. • Specific FNP rules: • INFORM FNP about the dateof theinterviewAND INVITE FNPREPRESENTATIVE AT LEAST 7 DAYSIN ADVANCE. (GO together with HR) • While recruiting Ph.D. students please also referto the SPECIFIC RECRUITMENT PROCEDURESAND RULESOF THE RELEVANT Ph.D. SCHOOL.(PI)

GENERAL RECRUITMENT RULES • RECRUITMENT COMMITTEE • &RECRUITMENT PROTOCOL • The Recruitment Committee should be involved in all steps of recruitmentand consistof 3 members (externaland international experts are encouraged, gender balanced). • The Committeeevaluates candidates based on selection of criteria providedin the job announcement. • Using one of the proper forms available on euglena, PREPARE THERECRUITMENT PROTOCOL,including at least: • basic informationaboutthe recruitmentprocess: time, schedule, mediain which job announcementwas advertised, number of candidates • the ranking list of candidates who were invited for interviews and the institutions which they come from • information about the recruitmentcriteria • terms of employment

GENERAL RECRUITMENT RULES • RECRUITMENT COMMITTEE • & • RECRUITMENT PROTOCOL • DELIVER the signed protocol to the HR Unit togetherwith the requestfor employment. • Specific FNP rules for PhD students and employees:Provide FNP with a COPY OF THE RECRUITMENT PROTOCOL TOGETHER WITH ACCOMPANYING DOCUMENTS (copy of Ph.D. diplomaor confirmationof the student’s status) within14 daysafterthe recruitment is closed.FNP must accept the protocol beforethe work engagement takes place. (PI)

GENERAL RECRUITMENT RULES • SUPPORT FROM • THE HR Unit • The HR Unit supports you atevery stage of the recruitment process. • In compliance with the GDPR (RODO) jobapplicationsshould be submittedto one E-MAIL addressrecruitment@iimcb.gov.pl • The HR Unit makes a formalassessment of candidates. Selectedapplicationsaresent to the Head of the RecruitmentCommittee. • The HR Unit informs all candidatesduly and timely in caseof significant changes or delays in the recruitment process. • The Head of the RecruitmentCommitteeprovides the HR Unit with short notes summarisingstrengths and weaknesses of the candidateswhowereinvitedfor interviews. The HR Unit passesthisinformation to the candidates. • HR Unit assures transparent COMPLAINT PROCEDUREfor all candidateswhobelieve to have been treated negligently, unfairlyor incorrectly.

  6. GENERAL RECRUITMENT RULES • Treat ALL CANDIDATES EQUALLYand JUDGE THEIR MERIT QUALITATIVELY AND QUANTITATIVELY, focusing on results withina diversified career path. Take into account career breaks, lifelong professional development, non-research experience and mobility experience.
