  4. Human &Physical Features Did you know that Libya’s population is 5,918,000? To begin with Libya’s total area is 679,362(square miles.) Next Libya has 140 passenger cars(per 1,000 pop.) Finally Libya’s life expectancy is 74 (years). In conclusion, these are some of Libya’s Human and Physical features different from the United States.

  5. Flag Did you know that Libya’s flag is all green? The color green means growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility. The Libyan flag was adopted on November 19,1977. Another interesting fact is the flag is the only national flag in the world that is simply one color with nothing else on it.To further illustrate my point, Libya gained independence from Italy on December 24,1951. In conclusion, Libya’s flag is rich in history and culture.

  7. Religion Did you know that 97% of people living in Libya are Muslims? The other 3% are something different. The Muslims text is the Qur’an. 1.3 billion Adherents Worldwide. Also if you're a Muslim you need to know the five pillars faith prayers alms and more. In conclusion Libya’s main religion is Islam, which shapes the culture.

  9. Animals, Plants, & Resources Did you know that there are fennec’s living in Libya? Fennecs have huge bat like ears, long thick fur that insulates them during the cold desert at night. There is also a plant called date palm. The date palm is a tall palm gray blue fronds with sharp spines. A natural resource in Libya is Petroleum. Petroleum began in Japan. Also it is latin for “rock oil.” In Conclusion Libya is filled with many different animals, plants, and natural resources.

Capital-the city or town that is the official seat of government in a country, state,etc. Leading, the capital is Tripoli. Independence-freedom from the control, influence, support, aid, or the like, of others. Self-Government, gained independence on 24, december 1951. Location- a place or situation occupied. Region,Northern Africa, bordering the Mediterranean Sea, between Egypt, Tunisia, and Algeria. Population-the total number of persons inhabiting a country, city, or any district or area. Public, the population of Libya is 6,244,174.
