  2. Music atschool In Aydin, in the school of ourTurkishpartners, there are no music classes. Sometimes, the studentsbring a guitar to school and play. Someplay ‘Saz’ . Theydon’t have a school anthem but they have a school band and a choir. Bothperform on national holidays. In Satu Mare, Romania, every class has a weekly music lesson and in smaller classes, they have up to 5 hours of music everyweek. The lessonstake place at the end of the daybecauseitisrelaxing and restful. Teachersplay the guitar, the flute or the accordeon. Duringschoolceremonies, the school anthem issung by the choir whichisbilingual : Romanian & Hungarian. It alsotakes part in religious & state celebrations & commemorations.

In both countries, ourpartnersacquire the CDs of theirfavouritesingersfromdifferent music stores and shopsordownloadthem on the Internet. But theydon’tcreatethem. Dance clubs As they are under 18, or evenunder 16, they do not attend dance clubs. Festivals Festivals are verypopularboth in Romania and Turkey. The « ZileleOrasului » , or « Days of » Satu Mare is a verypopular festival, and so are the « Cultural Days » of Satu Mare whereyoucanlisten to orchestral and traditional music. Now, didyou know that the Golden Orange Film Festival in Antalya is the oldest film festival in the world . And if youcan, don’t miss the famoustraditionalFig Festival !
