  1. TOWARD the IVth INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS LAY CANOSSIAN FAMILY (LCF)

  2. what? a gathering of the delegates who represent the different expressions and groups of the Lay Canossian Family.

  3. why? goal of the Congress to explore more deeply the Canossian spirituality and re-discover its novelty, its dynamism, its passion, and its capacity to offer alternative ways of living COMMUNION

  4. when? - where? July 30- August 7 2006 VERONA, ITALY

  5. our theme PROPHETS OF COMMUNION CHARITY is a fire that spreads and seeks to embrace everything. St. MAGDALENE OF CANOSSA

  6. our prayer Called by the Father as a Canossian Family, we journey together on the road that conducts us to the IVth Congress and, united by the Spirit of the greatest Love, with joy, we pray: We thank you, Lord God, for the gift of charism given to Saint Magdalene. Grant to us to participate in the same gift that Jesus be known and loved more and more. Send on us your Spirit. Infuse in us your wisdom and courage, to proclaim the beauty of the Gospel and to share in every place Your Word that transforms life. “MAKE US PROPHETIC PRESENCE”

  7. our prayer Open our hearts to assume without measure the love which we contemplate in Jesus Crucified, Divine Source; Grant that we may reveal it in turn to all our brothers and sisters especially to the poorest whom we meet. In our personal journey, help us to be prophets of communion, builders of peace and witnesses of hope. Accompany our path that we may be sanctified in our daily life, animated by charity and fed by the sap of faith and the fraternity. “MAKE US PROPHETIC PRESENCE”

  8. our prayer In the imitation of Mary, Most Holy Mother of Sorrows, make us open to the action of your Spirit. Form us toward patience, docility, meekness, and sweetness and educate us to be your humble instruments in our families and in our situations in life. Guard and protect, O God, the whole Canossian Family. Guide and sustain us in our mission in the Church, for the glory of God alone and the salvation of souls. Amen. “MAKE US PROPHETIC PRESENCE”
