ALL Nations Blessed Israel From Nile River to Euphrates River Whole World Initially promised the land of Canaan or Israel: Gen13:14 And the LORD said to Abram.. " Now lift up your eyes and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward; for all the land which you see, I will give it to you and to your descendants forever. Promise Extended to a large section of the Middle East: Gen15:18 On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, "To your descendants I have given this land, From the river of Egypt as far as the great river, the river Euphrates: The New Testament Extends this to the WHOLE WORLD: Rom 4:13 For the promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he would be heir of the world was not through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith.

  38. “The promise to Abraham….Heir of the World” (Rom. 4:17)

  39. DESCENDENT(S) SEED LAND Inherit Forever BLESSING ALL Nations Blessed Whole World Who? Jesus Christ All those “in” Christ Primarily Refers to Jesus Christ Gal 3:16 Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say, "And to seeds," as [referring] to many, but [rather] to one, "And to your seed," that is, Christ. Extends to all those who believe and are baptized into Christ: Gal 3:27-29 For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's offspring (seed), heirs according to promise”

  42. Has Abraham Received God’s Promise? God promised Abraham“all the land which you see, I will give it to you(Abraham) and to your descendants(Jesus Christ & those in him)forever.”(Gen.13:14-15) However, Abraham has NOT yet received this promise: • Acts 7:4-5“[God] removed him (Abraham) into this country in which you are now living. And He gave him no inheritance in it, not even a foot of ground; and [yet] …He promised that HE WOULD GIVE IT TO HIM” • Hebrews 11:8-13“By faith Abraham.. obeyed by going out to a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; … By faith he lived as an alien in the land of promise, as in a foreign [land],dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, fellow heirs of the same promise…. These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off…”

  43. God will fulfill His Promise to Abraham when Jesus returns Abraham, along with all those believers “in Christ”, will be resurrected • Matt 22:31-32"But regarding the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God: (32) 'I AM THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, AND THE GOD OF ISAAC, AND THE GOD OF JACOB?He is not the God of the dead but of the living.“ • 1 Corinthians 15:20-23But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep. (21) For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. (22) For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. (23) But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ's at His coming”
