BWXT Company History • BWXT Technologies, Inc., (BWXT) of Lynchburg, VA, is a diversified manufacturer of nuclear components and advanced energy products with operations in ten states. • BWXT has managed the site for the U.S. Department of Energy since 1997 • BWXT IT Department provides 26 services to BWXT divisions and employees all over the US.

  4. The Problem • IT Staff being over-loaded by large call volume. • IT Staff forced to do data entry when keeping records. • All record-keeping done in an off-line database, if at all.

  12. Requirements Checklist • What is the purpose of the requirements checklist? • The requirements checklist serves as our contract of what will be developed. • Most importantly, it defines all Outputs and Inputs of the final system.
