  3. Materials Used in a Disposable Camera • All plastic parts are made of ABS plastic • Both springs and the shutter are made of steel • Circuit board is made of fiberglass with printed conductive pathways made of copper

  4. Disassembly • Separate the front and back covers by prying open the 4 tabs where the covers meet • Discharge capacitor • Remove the circuit board and battery • Remove film canister • Remove the lens and shutter • Remove trigger assembly, viewfinder, advance wheel, and frame counter

  5. Assembly • Essentially the same as disassembly, but in reverse order • Reinsert trigger assembly, viewfinder, advance wheel, and frame counter • Reinsert the lens and shutter • Replace film canister • Reinsert the circuit board and battery • Put the two covers back together
