  1. Steps To Train Kids To Write The first mark your youngster makes on paper is a pleasant surprise. A child's desire to pursue, capture, or mimic an object of interest is sparked when it is aesthetically attractive. Every child develops talent at his / her own pace. So there's no need to worry about their development or speed. "Good writers" may be defined as kids who have been through a series of phases. How to teach children to write in 5 simple stages Objects with a round shape: Crawling after balls, tiny pets, and other toys is a favorite childhood activity for many children that is why it is incorporated in the curriculum by many playschools in Siliguri. The sight such toys thrill tiny tots so much that they pursue it. This is the earliest example of eye-body coordination. Their motor skills get further developed when they play with soft toys. These activities help prepare children to start using crayons. Chalks to crayons: The larger muscles of the human body adapt to move more quickly than the smaller muscles. It is a great idea to offer children chalks that they can grab with their fingers in a fist-like grip. Then, ask them to draw anything they like on a clean slate or some flat surface. This practice of scribbling on a flat surface with chalk helps children who are just over a year old to become used to the pressure they exert on their arm muscles. Slowly introduce colored crayons after they have the hang of it. Colouring books: Give children art books with blank forms and invite them to fill these shapes with crayons colors of their choosing. They get a sense of the structure of the project as a result of this procedure. With practice, children will be able to write their first letters sooner and with more accuracy. This is why play schools in Siliguri are so popular.

  2. Pencil grip: Crayons have a broader base than a pencil, making them simpler to hold. One needs to practice holding a pencil firmly with one's fingers. You may wrap a cotton cloth or clay around a pencil to assist youngsters in having a better grip on the pencil. Since they have sensitive fingertips that need to become used to the rough surfaces of a pencil. Do not worry about how kids handle pencils; initially it does not matter. Children use their thumb, index, and middle fingers to try out a variety of alternatives for maximum comfort. Gradually they will develop what is called the tripod or pincer grip. Tracing Introduce children to tracing patterns when they have mastered the pincer grip. Start with a more significant trace so that children's wrists and fingers may move freely. Gradually start introducing alphabets such as I, T, M, N, F and then go on to more complex ones such as C, G, J, Q. Observe how far apart the letters are as they trace. Introduce the notion of words after they have mastered the art of maintaining a consistent distance between notes. Conclusion Children learn to write words and phrases for a continuous period over five to six years. Teaching them how to write is a rewarding experience. Once they see how well they can write, there is a feeling of accomplishment and writing becomes a passion rather than a chore.
