    1. 1 Multi-Seal Introduction For ATA Maintenance & Technology Council January 8, 2008

    2. 2 Agenda Multi-Seal Business Philosophy Company Description Technology/Manufacturing Products

    3. 3 Business Philosophy The employees of the MULTI-SEAL Corporation believe that the MULTI-SEAL line of tire sealants is technically superior to all others in the market. It is realized, however, that even superior tire sealants have limitations and that no sealant can “chainsaw-proof” a tire. MULTI-SEAL employees and distributors endeavor to make realistic claims for our sealants and limit recommendations to equipment that will realize a problem-free cost benefit from their use. MULTI-SEAL’s goal is to maintain a satisfied customer who uses our products on an on-going basis. We would rather not make a sale than sell into an application that will create a dissatisfied customer. John H. Webb President

    4. 4 Company Description Founded 1981 Technology matrix offshoot of NASA Apollo spacesuit development program Full R&D and manufacturing capabilities on site Consistent emphasis on training & technical support Strong domestic & international dealer base

    5. 5 High Performance Tire Sealants: Preventative Seals large punctures Maintains inflation pressures/prevents slow leaks Works for life of the tire Has no negative impact on tires/wheels Water washable Technical Legitimacy

    6. 6 How Does it Work? Pooling Fiber “tangle” in wound Packing to form “filter” Fillers complete the job No chemical reaction!!

    7. 7 Critical Performance Categories Fibers

    9. 9 Critical Performance Categories Fibers

    11. 11 Critical Performance Categories Fibers Fillers

    14. 14 Critical Performance Categories Fibers Fillers Suspension System Freeze Protection

    15. 15 Key Benefits SAFETY! Seals punctures up to 5/8 inch in diameter Solves under inflation problems by sealing slow leaks Reduces flats in tubeless tires by 95% Reduces flats in tube tires by 70% Easily integrated into preventative maintenance programs Reduces equipment downtime, saves fuel; SAVES MONEY!

    16. Performance Benefits 16

    17. 17 Fleet Maintenance Stabilizes Air Pressure for Added Tread Life

    18. 18 Waste Collection Fleet

    19. Waste Transfer Fleet Fleet of (22) 18-Wheel Tractor / Dump trailers (396 wheel positions) Test duration - August 1, 2005 to December 31, 2005 Approximately 46% of the fleet was treated with sealant Sealant introduced through new retreads in a mounted “switch out” scenario Accurate records were kept as to which vehicles and which wheel positions were treated with sealant 1,335 tire failure work orders analyzed at the end of the 5 month test A daily failure rate (%) was calculated for repairable flats and catastrophic failures for both the sealant and non-sealant treated wheel positions in this fleet Results from the use of Multi-Seal Catastrophic failures reduced from 0.96% / day (avg) to 0.10% / day (90.02% reduction) Repairable flats reduced from 1.92% / day to 0.29% / day (84.93% reduction) 19

    20. Over-The-Road Food Delivery Service Fleet of 113 Trucks and 118 Trailers ? Over-The-Road use Test duration - July 2, 2007 to August 19, 2007 Random yard pressure checks of sealant and non-sealant treated tires performed weekly Introduction of sealant via 196 sealant treated Super Singles Total wheel positions in the fleet 2,074 Target pressure for all wheel positions 110 psi Data points (random pressure checks) over test period – Treated tires – 270 Untreated tires – 661 Results from the use of Multi-Seal Average psi treated tires – 108.27 Average psi un-treated tires – 95.56 20

    21. 21 Manufacturing All products manufactured at Houston facility On-site quality control procedures / data archiving / batch tracing Range of product packaging: pints to bulk Recently tripled manufacturing capability

    22. 22 Products/Application Overview Heavy Duty: Premier product for industrial off-road vehicles Heavy Duty Environmental: Same as Heavy Duty - No Ethylene Glycol Hydro-Seal: Developed for use in water-filled tires Armor-Seal: Military and extremely hazardous heavy industrial use

    23. 23 Summary Easily installed, water washable, environmentally benign tire sealant Proven performance, 26 year track record, full technical support In-house research and development, manufacturing and quality control Prevents flats, extends tire life SAVES MONEY!
