Intent • For students from home and abroad • Week of workshops, studios, individual sessions, group sessions, cross-over sessions, (theoretical) reflections,… • Communication every day: creations, progress, reflections • Output: closing event for general public • LAbO awards for best interdisciplinary project

  4. Coaches/Projects • Dialogues between all the disciplines: collaboration between dance and fine arts, or a cross-over between jazz, improvisation and contemporary dance, or a project with audiovisual art and classical music,…  possibilities! • Coaches

Possibilities • Pencil and white paper, ideas for a composition (ensemble, chamber-music, graphic score, symphony, piano solo,…) • But it’s only 1 world • Example: Internet: all styles of music, digital developments, other worlds •  connections with other worlds •  media, multimedia, transmedia, intermedia

  25. Not only art-worlds (dance, music, visual)! Also connections with science, ICT, social media,… • Education has an important role • Communication? • Responsibilities for the artist? You’re 23 and… • It’s a way of thinking and acting corresponding to the world today • LAbO is an example

  26. PREPARATORY SESSIONS • Introductory session in deSingel: 29/11/2012, 10:30 – 12:30h.  projects coaches, possible collaborations and workshop (Ann Eysermans) • Follow-up session: 31/01/2013, 16:00 – 19:00h + Champ d’Action studio-concert at 20:30h (Studio 3 – CDA – deSingel)
