  9. Ministry of Labour Commitment IIRSM Middle East has committed to assist the Ministry of Labour with the review of Construction Code at a Federal Level. There is a selected IIRSM ME Review panel at present; IIRSM ME Lead Review Panel; • Frank Higgins – Team Leader • Matt Cox • Robert Doughty • Dr. Haridas Nair Sub focus groups will be established to assist specific subjects and technical areas of the Construction code, IIRSM ME members situated within the U.A.E have the opportunity to be an active reviewer on such sub focus groups voluntarily if they; 1.) Volunteer 2.) Have competence, experience and qualifications against the subject 3.) Provide time to attend external meetings, MoL meetings and meet deadlines. Please note: this is not a employment opportunity or a financially ran exercise this is a voluntary opportunity for safety professionals to improve the regions codes and assist the Ministry of Labour. Great for your CPD, IPD, CV and for the benefit of working within the U.A.E

Ministry of Labour Opportunity Focus Group 02 – Cranes and Lifting equipment • Review Team Leader Vacant • Reviewer 2 Vacant • Reviewer 3 Vacant • Reviewer 4 Vacant The Deadline to nominate yourself as a reviewer for Focus group 02 is Thursday 31st May 2012. we already have a lot of CV’s to review so get them in ASAP! The appointed panel will be emailed to everyone next week, there are more focus group in the near future so aware.
