Attendance • Why sign in? • For the past several years we have had the chapter incentive program to encourage attendance at our meetings. • For 2009, two $25 gift certificates for the TimberLodge Restaurant will be awarded to any member attending six or more regular meetings or who brings one new member into the chapter. • For guests or members attending for the first time, this also insures your notification by email of all subsequent events.   16. Dave Walden In 2006, Dave Walden formed Sysnovation, LLC, a firm focused on Systems Engineering consulting and education based out of Shakopee, Minnesota. He is co-owner and the principal consultant for Sysnovation. Previously, he was with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems for 13 years and worked at McDonnell Aircraft Company for 10 years. Dave is currently the Program Manger of the International Council on Systems Engineering’s (INCOSE’s) Certification Program and also serves as the INCOSE liaison to ISO/IEC JTC1/SC7 Working Groups 10, 20, and 22. He has an M.S. in Management of Technology (MOT) from the University of Minnesota, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Valparaiso University in Indiana.

  17. Gordon Kranz Gordon Kranz is the Director, Major Systems Program Support within the Office of the Director, Defense Research and Engineering. SE leads development of all policy, practice, and procedural matters relating to DoD systems engineering and its key elements, including technical risk management, software engineering, manufacturing and production, quality, and related disciplines. The Major Program Support organization provides program oversight for all MDAP and MAIS programs. Mr. Kranz has more than 26 years of acquisition experience, including 10 years as a program manager for the U.S. Air Force and 16 years in private industry as a senior technical lead and program manager.
