All Students • Complete the Character Reference Form • Pick up forms today – also on website • Deadline for all forms, Friday, March 14, 3 PM • Honor Students – Honor Expectations • Student Responsibility • Asking questions • Teacher Conversations • Accuracy – Complete forms as requested • Meeting deadlines

  4. Character Reference Character Form Scholarship For all applicants Four signatures by a staff member Conversation required GPA of a 3.60 or higher Already rounded value Only need one area for membership

Leadership Leadership points come from participation that occurs over time and a commitment – a workshop or seminar is not considered as an extra-curricular. • 10 point requirement • School extra/co-curriculars • Fine Arts • Co-Curricular – Like Club • Theatre • 1 pt per production • 1 additional pt for leader role • Team Sport • 1 pt per season • 1 additional pt for captain • Club • 1 pt per semester (2 per yr) • 1 additional pt for leader role for each year Team Sport Max – 2 pts/yr Club Max – 3 pts/yr Fine Arts Theatre Max – 2pts See website for other point clarifications Ask if you do not know, A239 Leadership points may not be counted as service points

Service 10 hour requirement Service performed as a member of a club or team Service performed as an individual or part of an outside group This is time spent actively performing service at school or in the community Need verifying information/signatures Follow the example given Leadership & Service pts are separate – they may not be counted twice

  9. Verification of Applications • Submit by Friday, March 14, 3 PM – A239 • Check student email – verifications will be mailed by April 1st. No need to reply if correct. • You may be emailed to meet specifically about your application. Meetings will only be conducted person-to-person. Check your email. • Save the date – April 30th, 7:45 AM, Auditorium • Parents invited to attend ceremony for new members • Dress nice – this is an award!
