  1. Steps to Work is an established Employment and Training Provider within the West Midlands. We have the following opportunity: • Apprenticeship & Traineeship Manager (Walsall based but will be required to travel to all sites) • £29,528 - £32,072.00 per annum 37 hours per week • We are currently looking for an Apprenticeship & Traineeship Manager to join our Teaching and Learning team. The Apprenticeship & Traineeship Manager will be responsible for ensuring the quality and successful delivery of both direct SFA contracts and subcontracted provision. This will include; effective performance management of profiles to ensure achievement of contractual targets, co-ordination of all learner and employer engagement activity, direct line responsibility for Assessors, IAG Officers and programme administrators and External Quality Assurance. The ideal candidate must have experience of the following: • Excellent knowledge and understanding of apprenticeship funding model • Financial forecasting and budget management • Delivering of NVQ qualification frameworks and technical certificates • Assessment, Internal Verification and External Quality Assurance • E portfolios • Managing and motivating a diverse team of people • Working in a fast paced/ rapidly changing environment • Working to strict deadlines • Managing relationships with employers and other external organisations • A Management qualification • Assessor, IV and External Quality Assurance qualifications • Occupational competency in at least one of the following areas; Business Administration, Customer Service, Retail, Health & Social Care • Teaching qualification For more details or an application pack contact Raj Sarai, Rukhsana Begum or Zoe Owens on 01922 651870 or download from www.stepstowork.co.uk Closing date for all applications is Monday 31st March by 5pm 2014 Steps to Work is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its participants and expects all staff to share this commitment.
