  7. KalamkariSaree Kalamkarisarees are popular for their traditional artwork. This traditional saree is from Andhra Pradesh. These saris are prepared by mixing natural fibers and natural colors like flowers, leaves, iron rust, etc. No chemicals are used to fix these colors. The fabric which has to be used to make clothes is milked at a certain temperature, Boil for some time in a mixer of alum and water, and dry it in sunlight only. Milk prevents the mixing of one color with another and alum acts as a mordant. Therefore, the only way to identify these saris is that the smell of milk and alum keeps coming from these clothes. Kalamkarisarees are made in two types, one is MachilipatnamKalamkari in which the design is made with a wooden stamp while the other method is SrikalahastiKalamkari are made with a brush-like pen. The designs of these saris are inspired by Hindu mythology and are gradually getting more popular among young girls. This saree is the most comfortable to wear and can be worn anywhere and anytime.
