  2. I am picking this job because I like welding an I am good at it. It also pays great money and the world will always need welders to help develop the future.

Basic Information • You need a high school diploma or a GED • You need to be good at math so you don’t get messed up on your measurements an what you are building will not be all whoop sided. • You have to pass a test to get into welding school called the tave test. • You need to pass welding school to get a good paying job and owners will take you on faster than others with no welding school experience.

  4. Length of education required • Well it takes you until u can prefect welding on different angles an different structures to the teachers satisfaction

  5. Education courses required after high school • Welding school • Welding certification classes • And if you are doing under water welding you have to take scuba diving classes

  6. Degree required • Graduating from welding school • Welding certification identification card

  7. Salary for welders • Anywhere from 17dollars an hour to 120 or higher depending on what type of welding you are doing. • The under water welders get payed anywhere from 100 dollars an hour to 1000 or higher if your good an who you are welding for.
