  1. How do i fix my suddenlink cable

  2. Suddenlink offers broadband cable television connections in the United States with a variety of remote controls that can be easily synchronized with all electronic components in your living room. You can program and reprogram the Suddenlink cable television box in a matter of minutes and set up the remote control for the cable box without having to use outside technical assistance. Only your cable box and the remote control itself are required to set up the Suddenlink cable box remote control. You can start using your remote control immediately after setting up the Suddenlink remote control for a cable box. For Suddenlink activate guide, click here.

  3. Re-attach the Coaxial cable Disconnect the Ethernet cable Network reset

  4. Network reset Reset the network by unplugging the Suddenlink modem power cord and the power cord of a router or other home network you are using with the Suddenlink modem. Plug in all power cords after 30 seconds and wait another 30 seconds for all devices to restart completely. This basic reset is ideal for troubleshooting almost any problem the network may encounter, including slow speeds, intermittent connectivity, or lack of connectivity.

  5. Re-attach the Coaxial cable Unscrew the coaxial cable that secures the wall socket to the Suddenlink modem and check the needle in the middle of the cable for bends or damage. Screw the cable back to the coaxial input of the modem and reset the modem again as described in step 1. This troubleshooting step often resolves intermittent connection problems because dust or static electricity on the coaxial connection itself can interfere with the modem's communication to the Suddenlink network.

  6. Disconnect the Ethernet cable Disconnect the Ethernet cable that connects the Suddenlink modem to your router or other home network device, and connect it directly to the Ethernet port on the computer. Reset the modem again and test your network. This is known as "bypassing" the router. If the router is causing problems, the network should work normally once the router is bypassed. If the network continues to have problems after bypassing the router, you may need to call Suddenlink Technical Support to troubleshoot other network problems.

  7. If you know how to solve basic problems that an internet connection like Suddenlink Communication's broadband cable internet encounters, you can maintain the consistency of your home internet service without having to call a representative from your internet service provider's technical support . Fortunately, the troubleshooting techniques used for this purpose are fairly simple and can be mastered by even the most technically demanding users. Go on Suddenlink activation guide for more info.
