  5. Prayer before Worship • Dear Jesus, You are the Bread of Life I need to survive spiritually. Without You, I starve and eventually die forever. Thank you for loving me so much to be the only ‘food’ I need to take by faith to live forever. Bless my worship. Amen

  7. OUR COMMUNION PRACTICE • In the Sacrament of Holy Communion, Jesus gives us his true body and blood. We express unity with our Savior and those who share our faith and stand on the teachings of God’s Word. • Therefore, we invite to our altar those who are members of our church or the WELS. Visitors and guests who wish to commune are asked to speak to a pastor before the service begins.

St. Peter School News The new school year opens on Tuesday, August 21st, and all are welcome to come to the opening service at 8:30 a.m. Parents, if you missed registration day, please contact Principal Huebner. This year’s enrollment is considerably higher than last year. May God bless our efforts at making our children Jesus’ disciples!

Help For Parents • Key to Life Childcare Center is hosting a free “Love & Logic” early childhood parenting seminar on • Monday, August 20, 6:00-8:00 pm. • Parents, you’ll learn simple and easy to use techniques to help you have more fun and less stress while raising responsible children. • Childcare will be available, and feel free to invite your friends to come, too!
