  8. What should you budget for? • Salary • Coordinators, staff, anyone with dedicated, measurable effort • Patient Stipends • Imaging costs • Materials/Supplies for experiments

  9. Why salary? Coordinators and research assistants who will be doing the everyday tasks are great ways to budget salary Dedicated time to the project and it is supported Additional support (interns, part-time coordinators, etc) Federal applications typically allow the most flexibility for salaries
