China never achieved superpower status: • Labor unrest in the 30’s toppled the fragile political system. • Was the Internet the demise of Communism? • Manual labor content cost became too small to matter. • The copy cat strategy stifled creativity. • Lack of global natural resources starved the awakened giant.
