  2. Description of Placement Name of Class: U.S. History Grade Level: 10th grade Track of Class: Honors School Setting: Urban

  3. Typical Class Day Students usually chat with their peers as they wait for the morning announcement. After the announcement have been completed, the teacher gets the class back on track and ready to learn. A typical lesson includes going over the previous night’s homework, briefly discussing a new topic, and then giving students time in class to complete the next worksheet in their packet.

  4. Description of Student Physical Appearance: Average height, scrawny. Black afro, dark complexion. Behavior: Quiet, loner, keeps to himself, un-attentive during class discussion. Strengths: Attentive and accountable when engaged in a task. Works well in small groups with peers who are not overly outgoing. Disability: English Language Learner which leads to lower reading and comprehension ability. Source of Information: Observation and Mrs. Rubio or Ms. Wallace
