Diem Vo Introduction Scratch CSE3: Information Technology (IT) Fluency including proficiency with certain major applications (traditional computer literacy), principles on which you can build new understanding as IT evolves, high level reasoning and IT problem solving, and basic web programming (HTML). Computational thinking and data analysis and data presentations. CSE3 Winter 2010 Scratch is a programming language developed by Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab to teach young people how to develop computer programs. This particular file is a tic tac toe game, created by using tools to tell the computer what to do. Editing HTML Editing Images and Animation with Photoshop This is a webpage about Endangered Butterflies. The original piece was not edited, and full of HTML mistakes. It was later edited with corrections such as including the end / on a tag, or including quotations in links. Using a picture with Madonna—editing her wrinkles, flyaway hairs, etc. Animation of glaciers melting. In the program Microsoft Excel, we learned how to plug in different formulas to compute numbers using different data. It can then be turned into graphs such as the one above, about varying temperatures during the year in La Jolla. Data Analysis Using Excel PowerPoint Presentation February Calendar Using Excel to edit a given data, creating graphs with Excel and creating a PowerPoint presentation with slides featuring these graphs and data. Calendar created using HTML coding. Transferred to the Web and now available online for the world to see.
