State Environmental Protection Institution «Mosecomonitoring» Soil monitoring • There are in total 1333 soil sampling sites. • Every year – more than 5000 soil samples are analyzed • 20 Parameters controlled: • heavy metals content; • benzo(a)pyrene content; • oil products content; • humus content, %; • рН of liquid phase of soil; • nutrition elements content (N, P, K); • cation exchange capacity. • Main analysis techniques: • potentiometric, gravimetric,atomic absorption, fluorometric,IR spectrometer, ionometric, photocolorimetric, photometric, Complexometric, conductometric, gas chromatography-spectrometry, HPLC Soil monitoring sites and total chemical contamination of soil
