  3. What We Have Learned Many cultures have thought about eternity Our citizenship is in heaven. Jesus said we are not of this world. We will in some way know each other. We will not be married in heaven. Little children will be in heaven. We are not of this world.

  10. Jesus Talks to Us John 14:2 Mansions should be “dwelling places” Latin word, mansiones, meant “living places”. Notice Jesus says that He “prepares a place”

  11. A Place For Us “ A prepared place for a prepared people” -There will be nothing second rate about the place He is preparing. - God knows us best. He knows what gives us joy & happiness.

  16. Wrong Attitude This kind of attitude separates us from the resurrection and the hope of heaven. “ Water baptism is not necessary for salvation, but I have found that it is essential for growth and maturity.” - Jim Wright, crossroadsjunction.com

  17. The Right Attitude “There is also an antitype which now saves us- baptism….” 1 Peter 3:21 “arise and be baptized and wash away your sins”…Acts 22:16 “For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ”. Galatians 3:27

  18. Jesus, Our Judge Jesus is in a position to say if someone is going to heaven or not. 2 Corinthians 5: 9,10 Our job is to teach the way to heaven. Matthew 28: 16-20

  21. What is your purpose? We can put our faith into the wrong things which clouds our sense of purpose. • Money • Relationships • Jobs • Entertainment

  22. You can’t live faithfully outside the Word of God. Many people think of themselves as religious and “good with God.” But they do not know His word.
