  2. The French and Indian war • Britian,france,and Spain fight for territory. • They fought in many different places. • One time when they fought for the Ohio river it turned into a war the French and the Indian war.

  3. The proclamation of 1763 • After the French and Indian war was over the British moved into the land they had won • The Americans were afraid that this movement of the settlers would destroy their way of life

  4. The quartering act • The British decided to make the colonists provide quarters for the British troops. • After that the colonists got mad and destroyed Governor Hutchinson's house.

  5. The stamp act • After the war Britain was in debt. • To pay off the debt, Britain passed an act that taxed colonists on all the goods that was sailed over.

  6. The Boston massacre • The colonists got mad about all this and were calling the British soldiers lobster backs. • The leader of the soldiers said don’t fire, someone heard only fire and shot then the rest of the soldiers shot. • Five people ended up dyeing seven were wounded.

  7. The Boston tea party • The colonists got mad because of the tea act, so the sons of liberty revolted. • The sons of liberty dumped all the imported tea.

  8. The Intolerable acts • The intolerable acts was the way of the colonists to get back at the British. • The colonists put people in feathers and pored tea down there throat.
