  1. RAST Resolution 10/2-1Equipment Integration http://www.etsi.org/ GRSC (27 April – 1 May 2003) Olly Wheaton Chair ETSI TC-ERM GSC#8 April 2003, DRAFT 0.1 - 030316GSC-8, OTTAWA

  2. RAST Resolution 10/2-1Equipment Integration RAST Resolution 10/2-1 - resolves 2 (a) encourage administrations to adopt a policy that seeks to nominate common frequency allocations, licence regimes and approval mechanisms including mutual recognition for products which are likely to circulate on a global basis This resolution is addressed to administrations A viable standardisation objective is for PSOs to publish data on the applicability of their standards versus local spectrum allocations. In addition to agree Guidelines covering standards for conformance testing for integrated equipment that is equipment that can operate simultaneously in two or more frequency bands and for combinations of radio and non-radio equipment. It is proposed that GRSC endorses such Practices and Guidelines to facilitate the preparation of global Standards and Specifications GSC#8 April 2003, DRAFT 0.1 - 030316GSC-8, OTTAWA

  3. Equipment Integration Information on Radio Spectrum Use ETSI has produced list of ETSI radio standards, ordered by radio frequency ranging from 9KHz to above 30GHz The ETSI report provides details of each frequency band together with the applicable ETSI standards, contact information plus related regulatory information from the European Commission and CEPT TR 102 137Version 1.1.1 - 2002-11 Use of Radio Frequency Spectrumby Equipment meeting ETSI Standards In addition further information on spectrum use in Europe can be obtained from the CEPT ERO Frequency Information System (EFIS) accessed via http://www.efis.dk/search/general GSC#8 April 2003, DRAFT 0.1 - 030316GSC-8, OTTAWA

  4. Equipment Integration ETSI Publications ETSI has produced Guidelines which cover the use of harmonised standards to demonstrate conformance to the R&TTE Directive for EMC (part 1) and radio spectrum (part 2 ) TR 102 070-1 Version 1.1.1 - 2002-07 Guide to the application of harmonized standards to multi-radio and combined radio and non-radio equipment; Part 1: ElectroMagnetic Compatibility TR 102 070-2 Version 1.1.1 - 2002-11 Guide to the application of harmonized standards to multi-radio and combined radio and non-radio equipment; Part 2: Effective use of the radio frequency spectrum GSC#8 April 2003, DRAFT 0.1 - 030316GSC-8, OTTAWA

  5. Way Ahead GRSC Members are invited to adopt equivalent Guidelines for their own use, or alternatively offer a link to the ETSI web site from where the ETSI publications can be downloaded TR 102 070-1 re.
