The Manas Maozigendri Ecotourism society is one of the places that have not received much recognition from travelers over the years., However, it is one of the magical places that you should visit while traveling to the northeastern states of India. Story Behind Manas Maozigendri Ecotourism Society Manas National Park is one of the famous places of Assam, almost everyone knows that. The place is famous for its unique biodiversity and teeming wildlife. In 1985, the national park was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The problem started during the Bodoland Movement. As the friction between the government and the Bodo rebels started, the national park faced the threats of the greeds of some unscrupulous persons. The national park faced rampant felling of trees and the poaching became normal here.

  2. The lawlessness of the situation makes it easier for the poacher to just walk in and kill the animal at their convenience. There was a time when the park was not guarded by the forest officials and the poachers had the free reigns. The protection camps became ineffective and were mostly vacant. During this time, a small group of Bodo people realized the importance of forest in their lives and started a crusade against the poachers. They worked hard and fought even harder to preserve and protect the trees and the wildlife of Arunachal Pradesh tourist package. They raised alarms and called the Bodo leadership to take actions against the free reins of the poachers. The movement started a small manner, but slowly and surely it gained momentum. No doubt visiting a place as beautiful as Manas National Park will create a memory for a lifetime, but the more you know about the history of the place, the better your travel experiences will be in the long run.
