  1. How to Remove Norton Toolbars?

  2. The toolbars of Norton are intended to give protection to the users while they surf the web. It gives them anti phishing security and secure data encryptions. However it is not recommended to remove the toolbar or any other security feature from your browser and computer, but in case it is necessary then follow the given instructions: • Open your internet explorer as the web browser by double clicking the icon on your desktop or from the start menu. • Go to Tools on the top of the browser screen and choose Manage add-ons. • Enter the name of the Norton toolbar. For example: Norton.dll.

  3. Open the start menu placed in the left corner of the screen. • Open the Run command. • Type in the code given below: • regsvr32 /u \"C:\Program Files\Symantec\filename.\" • In the above step do not forget to replace the filename with the name of the file that you entered previously. The name of the toolbar can vary depending upon its version. • Hit the enter key and this will disable the system file that launches the toolbar automatically on start up of computer.

  4. Now double click the icon on the system tray in the right of the screen to open the Norton security suite software. • Open the Settings and Uncheck the checkbox for phishing protection. • After closing the window, restart your computer. • Restarting your system will now result into the toolbar going deactivated and removed. • We hope that this article helped you in removing the toolbar but if you are still not able to get a solution to it then you can reach Norton Antivirus support UK+44-2080-890421 from anywhere in the world to avail our instant help.
