  2. Tjerk Bijlsma i-GAME Aim of the project Aim of i-GAME is to: Speed up real-life implementation and interoperability of wireless communication based automated driving. This aim can be accomplished by joint development and demonstration! Development focusing on: Environmental perception, actuation and interaction Wireless communication Guaranteed safety Mixed-traffic operation By demonstrating it in a multi-vendor challenge, the GCDC to: Accelerate multi-vendor solutions, based on an interoperable architecture Accelerate standardization, verification and validation tools & methods Enhance governmental & public awareness

Tjerk Bijlsma i-GAME Where it all started: Grand Cooperative Driving Challenge 2008-2011 Innovative worldwide competitive demonstration Acceleration development, implementation and testing of cooperative & automated driving 11 teams signed up, 9 teams made it to the final event Competition and collaboration go hand in hand together National and international attention for GCDC,GCDC won the I-mobility Award Positive response from general public, technical experts and teams Not just one 1 winner….

Tjerk Bijlsma i-GAME Cooperation Cooperation possibilities: Define automated driving use cases and scenarios (All via reference-group) Implementation of communication protocols (ITS-G5) according to the standard(s) (COMPANION and AdaptIVe?) Organize joint events and possibly stakeholder meetings (All) Join the i-GAME challenge!!(AdaptIVe, COMPANION) Form a (OEM, supplier, RTD) team to assess the implementation Provide input for the VRA roadmap, based on GCDC results and implementation Please contact me for a possible cooperation
