  13. All In Coaching- April 4 • Tribunal Evidence • Example • Report was made on April 4 at Leopold Football Ground • The incident took place on center wing on the Grandstand side of the ground around 15min into the 3rdqtr • Player 21 from Leopold had was moving forward slightly to take possession of the ball that was rolling slowly towards him. His opponent was within 2m directly behind him. • As Player 21 from Leopold was attempting to pick up the ball from the ground when struck front on by Player 4 from St Albans who approached from front on • No other players were in the vicinity of the incident

  14. All In Coaching- April 4 • Tribunal Evidence • Example • My position to the incident was 15-20m side on (toward center of ground) • From my position to the incident contact was made front on to the head and shoulders of Player 21 from Leopold • The contact caused Player 21 from Leopold to fall backwards to the ground clutching his head • Player 21 from Leopold was moving slowly forward in his attempt to possess the ball on the ground and the contact from Player 4 from St Albans was made at a rate 5 times faster than that of the Player 21 from Leopold

  15. All In Coaching- April 4 • Tribunal Evidence • Example • A melee involving 6-8 players resulted from the incident. • Once the melee dispersed Player 4 from St Albans was informed that he was reported for forceful front on contact and asked if he understood the charge. He was then sent from the ground through a Yellow card. • Leopold Player 21 was taken from the ground by trainers following the incident and a teammate took the free kick awarded.

  16. All In Coaching- April 4 • Tribunal Evidence- what they may want to know? • Level of Force applied • Scale (rate/ score out of 10 etc) • Player option(s) • Could the player have selected an alternate measure to avoid the incident, ie laid a tackle instead of a bump? • Yes/ No reply often best • Tribunal Evidence- no no’s • Do not state recommendation of intent/ negligence • Do not elaborate- Yes/ No answers to questions. Repeat evidence provided if required.

  17. All In Coaching- April 4 • Tribunal Procedure • Stan & Guests • Other/ Questions?
