  2. Lysosome • Lysosomes are vesicles in all cells, which contain digestive enzymes that can break down the wastes contained in the vacuoles. • It works as a cleaning system for cells and factories. • The Lysosome is located in the cytoplasm of eukaryotic cells.

  3. A fun fact about Lysosome • The single-layer membrane protects the rest of the cell from the harsh digestive enzymes that would otherwise harm the cell.

  4. Vacuole • The vacuole is an organelle that is found only in plant cells. • It is responsible for maintaining the shape and structure of the cell. • Plant cells don’t increase in size by expanding the cytoplasm, rather then increasing the size of their vacuoles.

  5. A fun fact about the Vacuoles • Vacuoles also help maintain a steady pH. • The pH is acidic.
