  4. Benefits of Multitasking in SI • Creating mental space. • Getting the brain used to doing multiple things at once. • Training the brain to somehow concentrate on both tasks (listening &interpreting)without sacrificing quality.

  5. Practicing Multitasking with Shadowing • While shadowing what you hear, write numbers in a chronological order.

  6. Homework • Do shadowing with your second language. • Next do Shadowing with another activity.

  7. Conclusions • Identifying multitasking. • Practicing shadowing &multitasking.
