  2. July 2011 • Handover • Training • Senior Management Residential. • Training • Win Students’ Union of the Year!!!

  3. August 2011 • Trained the Lovely Lays! • Attended NUS Training. • Planned and Delivered Sabb Campaign • Finalised all Marketing Materials for Welcome Week and Sent to Print.

  4. September 2011 • Welcome Week! • First editorial Meeting of this academic year. • Issue 19 out! • Staff Bowling trip. • NSS Campaign Planned. • Lots of Induction Talks • Recruited, Trained and Supported the Media Team.. Hoooo!!!

October 2011 • Equality Rep Elections. • Recruited for NU:TV Committee and Production Teams. • Trained the Amazing Student Council! • Attended Union Development Zone Conference. • Nu:life issue 20 is published! • Delivered session at the amazing Course Rep Conference 2011 • AGM occurred without a glitch!

  6. November 2011 • RAG Week – Counted a bunch of monies. • Issue 21 Out Now! • Planned for NUS Conference elections and Referenda – Publicity and candidates. • Spent time at Metro Radio • Completed NU:FM Proposal and sent to School.

  7. December 2011 • Started so you want to be a Sabb Talks – where I first spoke to Mike Potter. • Record Breaking NUS Conference elections • Edition 22 Out Now! • Referenda – Are Student Consumers? • Watched some amazing Graduations • Dressed as an Elf. • Christmas!!!!!

  8. January 2012 • Sabb Team Tour • Elections Publicity sorted • Elections rules debated • Edition 23 of nu:life released. • I am NSU Week • Impact report Photo Shoot

  9. February 2012 • NGT – Northumbria’s Got Talent • IIP – Investors in people • Library Campaign • Nu:life bumper edition planned edited and printed. • Impact Report Produced • Elections Preparation: • Chatting with Potential Candidates • Planning evening events.

  10. March 2012 • First A4 Edition of nu:life • Elections • NU:TV Recruitment • Elections • SUIE Assessment • Elections • Student Staff Recruitment Day • Leadership Committees Bonded and Lays!

  11. April 2012 • Issue 26 of nu:life edited & sent to print. • Attended NaSTA Nottingham – NU:TV Nominated for 17 Awards • Lobbied 8 Mps in London • Attended NUS National Conference in Sheffield. • Edited Videos for Annual Awards • Planned for the forthcoming months

  12. May 2012 • Annual Awards • New look website. • Publications for new academic year. To include alternative to alternative prospectus. • Student Council Review • Handover • Preparation for packing up for new communal sabbatical office. • Graduation Video

  13. Other Roles Ran 6 Successful GOAL days! Business and Psychology Periodic Reviews. Mentor for the amazing lays Member of the Board of Governors Member of the Students’ Union’s Trustee Board Member of Academic Board

  14. Key Highlights First ever full Student Council. Most successful run of GOAL Days to date. Changed the title of my role to VP Communications and Democracy. 55 individual people writing for nu:life. Mentored the amazing Lay team. Ran 2 Cross Campus Equality rep elections. Record Breaking Conference Elections. Trained the Best Student Councillors ever. Nu:life out monthly term time – 8 editions a year. NU:TV Completely Student Led. 4255 votes cast in the elections. 40 candidates stood in this years elections. 17 programmes shortlisted for NaSTA. 51,254 hits on NU:TV’s YouTube channel. First ever Impact Report Delivered. Ran Are Students’ Consumers Referenda.
