Mission - Assist students with positive career explorations, whether their chosen career path includes pursuit of experiential educational experiences, pursuit of an advanced degree or the quest for post-graduation employment. Target Market -Undergraduate and graduate Walton College students and employers and education institutions interested in recruiting the best.

  9. 2008 - 2009 • Undergraduate Employment Outcomes, Fall 2008 – Spring 2009 • 87% of graduates responded to the Career Center survey. • 70% of job seeking graduates were employed at graduation. • $46,665 is the average salary for an undergraduate business major. • 83% of graduates were employed in the south (including Arkansas); 77% of graduates were employed in Arkansas. • Students received an average of 3 job offers during their job search. • 26% of the fall and spring graduating classes, as a whole, will pursue advanced degrees after graduation. • 81% of students employed or continuing education utilized a Career Center service.

  10. Cooperative Education Cooperative Education (Co-op) is an optional, academic program that enables students to gain degree-related experience prior to graduation. The student learns about his/her field of study through hands-on experience in the workplace. • Students earn an average of $13/hour • Work approximately 20 hours per week • Hiring employers (partial): • ABF, American Institute of Foreign Studies, AT&T, Brainard Capital Investment, Carlton Bates, Clinton Foundation, Conoco Phillips, Dillard's, General Mills, Hershey’s, IBM, Merrill Lynch, Rockfish Interactive, Tyson Foods, Wal-Mart.

  11. Leadership Walton To provide students, in the Sam M. Walton College of Business, a defined progression of professional development requirements, an enhancement to their educational experience - a plan that combines leadership experience, academic learning and professional and career development training.
