Introduction • We have been thinking about what is ‘real’. It will not surprise you to know that much thought has gone into the question of whether you can prove that God is real. In this unit we are going to look at one of the most famous of all attempts to prove God’s existence • In the thirteenth century, there was a Christian theologian and philosopher who tried to prove God’s existence. His name was Thomas Aquinas. In fact, he offered five Proofs.
My Intro • In this unit of work, we have been thinking about what, if anything, is real. Many people over the years have tried to prove or disprove the theory that God exists. • In the 1200s, a Christian philosopher and theologian called Thomas Aquinas who tried to prove the existence of god. He offered five ‘proofs’.
