Status of the 1st periodic report • Period covered: 01/10/2011 – 30/04/2013 • Periodic Report: within 60 days after the end of the period Periodic (31 May 2013) • Activity report: about 75% have been completed • Explanation of the Use of Ressources: 2 UoR missing • Financial Statement (FormC): 2 FS missing • Delay until 30 June 2013!

Deliverables and Milestones Up to now • 8 deliverables have been submitted • 6 deliverables have been slighly delayed • 3 milestones have been reached • 1 milestone have been slightly delayed • D2.5 has been delayed from M24 to M33 • D4.2, D4.3 and D4.7 have been grouped together under a common deliverable due at M33: ‘Conformity of GROOM glider and multi platform missions with standards'

Financial issues • EC contribution budgeted: 3 500 000€ • Max EC distribuable (85%): 2 975 000€ • Pre-financing: Distributed to the partners in 2 advance payments (Section 7.3.2 of the C.A) • 1st payment (90%): 2 362 500€ • 2nd payment (10%): 262 500€ (aftersubmission of the 1st report)
Financial issues Next payment: Remaining prefinancing: after the submission of the 1st report + Interim payment : after the periodic reports have been accepted, the payment is calculated on the basis of the declared costs Forecast of EC contribution to receive: 350 000€ (estimated) Max EC distribuable (85%): 2 975 000€ Less : Prefinancing: 2 625 000€
Future Work for the period 2 • Input for the Gender Action report needed (D6.2 and D6.3) • Interim financial report at M27 (December 2013) in Vitamib Important for the follow-up of the work and avoid surprises before the final report
Dissemination During the course of the project : - all scientific (peer reviewed) publications relating to the foreground of the project - all dissemination activities : Publications, conferences, workshop, web sites, press releases, flyers, articles published in the popular press, videos, media briefings, presentations, exhibitions, thesis, interviews, films, TV clips and posters

Dissemination • All publications shall indicate that the project received the financial support from the Commission • Any dissemination activity shall be reported in the plan for the use and dissemination of foreground, including sufficient details/references to enable the Commission to trace the activity.
