WORK VALUES • Work Values arepersonal “needs”we try to fulfill in our work • Financial Reward– being able to buy and enjoy the lifestyle we desire • Creativity– creating, inventing, designing, developing products or ideas • Helping Others– also known as Altruism • Independence– being able to work in your own way • Variety– being able to complete many types of tasks

  6. WORK and JOB • EMPLOYER – a person or business that pays an individual to work. • EMPLOYEE – Someone who works for a person or business for money (pay). • EMPLOYABILITY – being well prepared to get and keep a job. • Job – is something you do for pay.
