Null – There will be no difference in perspectives on issues of race between white males and non-white and females.   4. Results A multiple linear regression was calculated to predict students view of race discrimination in the United States based on their gender, and whether or not they indentified White. A significant regression equation was found F(2, 38068) = 803.390) p<.01) with an R squared = 0.040. Results suggest that views of race discrimination in the United States based on gender and whether or not they identified as white is significant. The expected score for white male student would be .238 which is equal to 5.35. While all variables were statistically significant the greatest variance was found between white males and non-white males.

  5. findings Analysis shows that the hypothesis that white males perspectives on race differ (racial discrimination is no longer a problem in America) from other groups of race and gender is correct. White males perspectives on race was significantly different from other groups of race and females. The null has been rejected
