  3. Therapeutic vaccination during ART induced Gag/Vif-specific CD8+ T-cell responses. ART wk 12 wk 26 wk 27 wk 34 P = 0.0087 P = 0.0130 Gag antigen-specific CD8+ T-cell frequencies (%of CD8+ T cells) P = 0.0152 P = 0.0238 Vif

  4. Anti-SIV efficacy of CD8+ cells was enhanced by SeV-Gag/Vif vaccination during ART. pre-ART CD8 during ART CD8 anti-SIVpre efficacy wk27 Gag-specific CD8T frequencies (log) R = 0.9429 P = 0.0167 anti-SIVpre efficacy of CD8+ cells at wk27 (log) Anti-SIV efficacy of CD8+ cells was correlated with Gag-specific CD8+ T-cell responses after SeV-Gag/Vifvaccination. Our results suggests that Txvaccine-induced Gag-specific CD8+ T cells can contribute to HIV control.
