How do we work • Professional Development Needs Assessment workshop was conducted for assessing needs from 39 project managers of 4 target countries • Based on PDNA findings we address needs of capacity building by • Training programs • Coaching • Consulting • And other ways that projects prefer • Engagements with several local/sub-regional service providers

APMAS KM Plan • Promote creation of Knowledge • Gender Sensitive Training Materials • Best practices • Tools • Mission reports • Training evaluation reports • Encourage projects to share knowledge • Projects activities • Projects documents • Opinion or experience sharing • Promote networking and experience sharing among projects • Online discussions • Field visits • Networking events

  7. KM Initiatives so far We strive to create a knowledge sharing culture at APMAS and with our beneficiary projects • Web portal for all APMAS updates on regular basis • Monthly updates • Bi-monthly Newsletter • E-Discussion • Social networking through Facebook, Linkedin, Picasa, and Twitter

  8. Challenges • Lack of mechanism and control to create, share and collect knowledge generated at project level • Limited control to support KM Coordination and Infrastructure at project level • Language
