  4. SERVICES Provides on campus Licensed Private Academic School Residential Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Therapy Also offers In Home MDFT Counseling, Step Down Weekend Program, and Weekend Diversion Program

  5. CLIENTS SERVED Average Number of Clients on Campus: 55 Average Age Range of Clients: 13-17 Referred from 16 Different Counties, Mainly Westmoreland, Allegheny, Erie Includes Juvenile Probation and Children And Youth clients, and Self-Referrals

  14. HANDS ON MODULES CONT. Includes Computer Based Curriculum Allows students to learn terms, theory, and techniques Includes hands on activities throughout curriculum Gives students ability to work at own pace While gaining real life experience

  15. Computer Graphics Design In this course, students study the basics of computer graphics by using the graphic software package Canvas. Students design a graphic and learn how to transfer it onto a T-Shirt by using a transfer machine called a heat press. Students also examine careers in computer graphic design.

  16. Residential Electrical Wiring In this course, students learn the basics of installing and testing some of the basic electrical fixtures in a home. After the completion of this course, students will be able to: - explain the safety and procedure for working on any circuit - identify typical residential wiring arrangements - discuss the significance of the national electrical code - demonstrate the installation of most common residential electrical fixtures - wire a subpanel, and various receptacles and switches - explore career opportunities in the field of electrical work

  17. Cabling Technology The CablingTech Cable Installation Training System combines time proven techniques with state-of-the-art technology to provide an effective training course. The course includes: - Student Tool Sets - Student Training Program - Parts Package - Equipment - Instructor’s Package - Cabling Skills Training Center Walls

  18. Cabling Technology Skills Training Center: The heart of the class is the CablingTech Cabling Skills Training Center. On this training center the student will hone their skills. Purpose of the Course: The goal is to equip students with the fundamental knowledge, skills, and understanding that will enable them to install, troubleshoot and maintain cable. This course will provide the student with the foundation for becoming a qualified cable technician.

  20. CNC Mill Students study computer numerical control of a milling machine as it is used in manufacturing technology. Students who complete this module will be able to: - use CAD software to design drawings and generate CAM programs - set up a project and safely operate a CNC mill - apply programming skills to troubleshoot problems and find solutions for CAM programs - explore career opportunities in the field of CNC machines CNC Mill

  21. CNC Lathe A CNC lathe is a computer-controlled method of manufacturing that is used to increase productivity and raise safety standards in the workplace. CNC operation improves high-volume production, where many identical parts or complex shapes are manufactured. Students who complete this module will be able to : - examine and use computer programs with CNC codes - set up and safely operate a CNC lathe - explore career opportunities in the field of CNC technology CNC Lathe

  33. FUTURE ADDITIONS Would like to add modules on welding, plumbing Culinary arts, and horticulture Will be adding a greenhouse to start horticulture Add more community based opportunities for Work study/future employment Include First Aid/CPR, OSHA 10, and ServSafe as obtainable certifications
